Ingredients

  • Orange — 200 g
  • Watermelon — 300 g
  • Diet 7Up — as needed
  • Ice cubes — as needed

Method

1. Prepare the Orange Juice

Squeeze the juice from the oranges and keep it aside.

2. Prepare the Watermelon

Cut the watermelon flesh into cubes and transfer it to a blender.

3. Blend

Add the fresh orange juice to the blender.

Blend on high until the watermelon is completely liquefied and the mixture is smooth.

4. Assemble the Mocktail

Add ice cubes to serving glasses.

Pour in the orange-watermelon mixture.

Top with Diet 7Up according to your preference.

5. Serve

Serve immediately while chilled and fizzy.

Tip

Use well-chilled oranges and watermelon so the mocktail stays cold without needing too much ice.

Add the Diet 7Up only at the end so the drink keeps its fizz.

Ipshita’s Note

This is the kind of drink I like on a hot day — fresh fruit, lots of colour and just enough fizz to make it feel special. The orange and watermelon naturally create that beautiful sunset shade, which is exactly where the name came from.
