Prep Time: 15 mins

Assembly Time: 10 mins

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • Bread — 4 slices
  • Cucumber — 100 g
  • Tomato — 20 g
  • Onion — 20 g
  • Cheese, grated — 25 g
  • Green chilli — to taste
  • Salt — to taste
  • Pepper — to taste

Method

1. Prepare

Grate the cheese. Thinly slice the tomato and onion. Using a vegetable peeler, slice the cucumber lengthwise into long, thin ribbons.

2. Assemble Filling

Place the onion and tomato slices on the bread and top with grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Add green chilli if you prefer it spicy. Cover with another slice of bread and gently press down.

3. Wrap

Carefully wrap the sandwich with the cucumber ribbons, either across the middle or completely around the sandwich. This adds a refreshing crunch and gives the sandwich its distinctive look.

4. Slice & Chill

Slice the sandwich neatly into halves. For a cooler, crisper sandwich, chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Serve with mint dip on the side, if desired.
